Mayra Gonzalez, a 32-year-old woman, has been charged with six counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under 16 years old, and two felony counts of oral copulation with a minor. These charges stem from sexual encounters with a 16-year-old boy starting in December of 2011. Gonzalez met the minor through her daughter, who was dating the minor at the time. Gonzalez claims she fell in love with the minor and starting having a sexual relationship with him. Gonzalez recently gave birth to the minor’s child. If convicted of her charges, Gonzalez could face more than seven years in prison and will have to register as a sex offender.
